A contemporary art museum in Rotterdam with an editorial platform its curators actually enjoy using.
The Hollow programmes 30 exhibitions a year with a team of four. Any system that needed a developer was going to fail.
We built an editorial model around exhibitions, works and essays, then designed page templates that stay elegant whether a curator uploads one image or forty.
Typography does most of the work. There is no carousel anywhere on the site.
Ticket click-through rose 240% and the site has since collected six design awards.
